Suspects indicted for sex crimes

MARIETTA, Oh.-(WTAP) Two men are indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury for sex crimes involving minors.

Devin Lindsey is among 16 people indicted this week by the grand jury.

He is charged with rape, and was arraigned Friday morning, with bond set at $250,000.

Prosecutor Nicole Coil says he has a criminal past, and could face more charges.

"He has a prior charge of sexual imposition, which is a misdemeanor, and he is a registered sex offender based upon that prior charge," Coil said. "There are other potential indictments coming, and there will be other cases brought to the grand jury related to Devin Lindsey."

The indictment says the incident happened in October.

Stephen Snider, meanwhile, is charged with six counts of gross sexual imposition, for a series of reported crimes between January,, 2018 and July, 2019. His bond is set at $150,000.

Coil could not comment further on either case, since they involve juveniles.

She did say the alleged victims are 12-year old females.
