MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - The Mid-Ohio Valley Players are gearing up for a spooky play expected to bring more than just weather chills this fall.
Auditions were held Sunday for "Frankenstein 1930," a play that will closely mirror the iconic horror film.
It won't take the stage until Oct. 16, but the director is looking for six women, six men, and one child age 7 or older.
"He's hideous and people are scared of him and won't come near him and he can't make any friends and he's really depressed, Director David Grande said. "And the whole thing is him dealing with his depression and his way of dealing with his depression is basically killing people."
Final auditions are 7 p.m. Monday at the Mid-Ohio Valley Players theater, 229 W. Putnam St, Marietta.
