PARKERSBURG, W. Va. The Salvation Army in Parkersburg served hundreds of community members with the help of over two hundred volunteers.
The volunteers also delivered some of the meals to individuals homes' while the rest of the community felowshipped together on this Thanksgiving Day.
Several of the volunteers were young students who were excited about experiencing the joy from giving.
"I feel that I'm really lucky to spend Thanksgiving with my family, so I wanted to come here so I can help other people have a good Thanksgiving too," said Vuksic, volunteer.
The Salvation Army served over 200 meals during their dinner and was able to deliver 435 meals to homes around the region.
