Three New Year's babies born at Marietta Memorial

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - The start of 2020 in Marietta came with the births of three baby boys at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

The first was Holden Thorla, born at 1:46 a.m. to the parents Bailee and Tanner Thorla.

The next was Nathaniel James Tornes, who arrived at 12:35 p.m. to parents Gavinn Tornes and Grace Heiss.

The last New Year's Day baby born was Colt Thomas Taylor who was bonr a few minutes after Nathaniel at 12:45 p.m. to his parents Hannah Thomas and Trystan Taylor.

"Yeah, it's really exciting," said Gavinn Tornes, Nathaniel's father. "When we came to the hospital on Tuesday we were wondering if we were going to have him on New Year's Day, and it came out we did."

"We were excited," said Hannah Thomas, Colt's mother. "It's a good way to start off the new year."

All three were the first born children of the parents, and they have big future plans for them.
