Trump rally in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP) - Supporters of President Donald Trump in the Mid-Ohio Valley came out to the intersection of Murdoch and Lakeview Drive waving flags and signs in support.

Some drivers who passed by would honk in support. Organizers say, the purpose of the rally was to just show that they are behind the president in the hopes that he gets re-elected.

"We're out here to support our president. One of the greatest presidents of all time," said Roger Conley, Wood County Republican Executive Committee, chairman. We've got a president that in spite of all the curve balls that's been thrown at him and every time he gets one of those curve balls. He hits it out of the park."

President Trump will be running to be re-elected in November of 2020.
