Two-vehicle crash closes part of Pike Street in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A rear-impact crash involving two vehicles injured one person and temporarily shut down the southbound lane of Pike Street near 10th Avenue in Parkersburg on Tuesday afternoon.

A Wood County 911 dispatch supervisor said the crash happened was reported at 4:30 p.m. It happened at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Pike Street.

One person suffered minor injuries and authorities shut down the southbound lane of Pike Street while the crash scene was cleared.
