A nationwide news and research publication has ranked Camden Clark Medical Center a "High Performing Hospital" for treating Heart Failure and COPD.

Camden Clark was one of 3 hospitals in West Virginia to be rated "High Performing" in specialty care categories on the U.S. News and World Report's 2017-2018 "Best Hospitals" list, including WVU Medicine Hospitals in Morgantown and Bridgeport.

For its 2017-2018 "Best Hospitals" rankings list, U.S. News and World Report evaluated more than 4,500 medical centers nationwide in 25 specialties, procedures and conditions.

In each of the specialties, procedures and conditions that U.S. News and World Report evaluated in its rankings, only 10% to 21% of hospitals were rated as "High Performing," and of the 4,500 hospitals evaluated for the "Best Hospitals" list, fewer than 30% earned even one "High Performing" rating.
