Vienna, WVa (WTAP)-- Motorists see some unusual sights during the holidays, but also some familiar ones.
Every year, the Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna holds a live nativity scene out front of their church.
Motorists passing on Grand Central are encouraged to slow down and observe the display.
Volunteers staff the manger scene for two hours a night in the days preceding Christmas.
Characters are relieved every half an hour, so that no one gets too cold, and to keep spirits up in the religious portrayal.
Many passing motorists honked Monday night, showing their enthusiasm for the display again this year.
The live nativity scene wrapped up at 8 p.m.
