Update: Vienna man pleads guilty to drug charge

Cipriano Scotto-Rinaldi pleads guilty in Wood County Circuit Court to conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.

His $50,000 bond was reinstated, and Rinaldi was released on bond, on condition he would seek rehabilitation.

His sentencing is set for April 27.


A Vienna man indicted on a drug charge in Wood County was arrested Thursday at his home by police executing a search and arrest warrants.

A grand jury indicted Cipriano Scotto-Rinaldi Wednesday on a charge of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.

According to Vienna Police Chief Mike Pifer, authorities also found small amounts of suspected fentanyl and heroin and suspected marijuana at his home at 3207 Charles Drive.

Scotto-Rinaldi is being held on a capias warrant issued in Wood County Circuit Court, where his bond was set at $50,000.

Pifer said he faces two to 10 years in prison if he's convicted of the charge in the indictment, and additional charges are pending.

Scotto-Rinaldi was being held at the Wood County Holding Center Thursday afternoon.
