W.Va. legislative candidates speak at forum in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Wood County League of Women Voters hosted another meet-the-candidates forum Monday evening.

Candidates for the West Virginia Legislature spoke to residents gathered in the Parkersburg City Council chambers.

Because there are 15 candidates, candidates gave a brief presentation and there were no questions from the audience.

Early voting begins April 25.

The League of Women voters is a nonpartisan group promoting voters' rights, environmental issues and immigration and health-care reform.
