WVUP, Senator Manchin to host career fair Friday
Job seekers can get some help with their job hunt on Friday at the MOV Career Fair at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin and the school are hosting the career fair on Friday. It’s being held in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of the MOV, Results Radio, WorkforceWV & Workforce Development Board MOV.
More than 130 employers from several states are expected at the fair. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes, dress to impress, and there’s even an opportunity to get professional head shots.
It’s free to attend and open to the public.
“If you’re looking for a job, to come in and have 130 employers at your fingertips, that’s a great thing and we just want to help make those matches and help the community, help everybody network,” Jennifer Randolph, the director of the school’s Career Services, said.
Senator Manchin is expected to speak at the fair.
The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the school’s main campus.
