W.Va. man arrested at New York airport for carrying a loaded gun

PARKERSBURG W.Va. (WTAP) - A West Virginia man has been arrested this Tuesday morning for carrying a loaded gun at the John F. Kennedy airport in New York.

The Bluefield, W.Va. man was carrying a .38 caliber handgun loaded with seven bullets officers say. The man's name is not being released at this time.

The gun was spotted durijng TSA pre-check, and was then confiscated by Port Authority police. The man was ticketed to fly to London.
