UPDATE: Man considered armed and dangerous caught in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - Deputies say they caught Kevin Morgan on Halls Road at around 8 p.m. Friday night.

He was found walking along the road about 2 miles from where he had crashed his car. He is charged with being a fugitive from justice and failure to comply.

It was a joint effort to capture him from public assistance, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman he was with, Cynthia Loy, is charged with obstructing official business.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kevin R. Morgan.

Morgan is a wanted fugitive from West Virginia. Morgan fled from deputies this afternoon in the New Matamoras area. Deputies had knowledge he was a wanted fugitive. Kevin Morgan is wanted on multiple warrants for DUI in West Virginia and fleeing. Morgan is now facing charges in Washington County.

Morgan is considered Armed and Dangerous. Do not approach. Contact your local law enforcement or dial 911.

His date of birth is 06-24-1975.
He's 6’01" and weighs 165 pounds.
He has blue eyes and has tattoos on his neck, right arm, and chest.
