Washington County grand jury returns 28 indictments

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - Twenty-eight people are facing criminal charges after their indictment by a Washington County grand jury on Wednesday.

Following is a list of those who were indicted and the charges they're facing.

- Christopher Mayle – tampering with evidence; aggravated possession of drugs
- Anthony J. Curry – aggravated trafficking in drugs; permitting drug abuse
- Clarissa M. Doughtery – permitting drug abuse
- Curtis Howell - having weapons while under disability; aggravated menacing; domestic violence; aggravated possession of drugs
- Larry D. Loy – three counts aggravated possession of drugs; aggravated trafficking in drugs
- Deborah L. Streight – interference with forfeitable property; obstruction of justice
- Lindsay M. Lucas – permitting drug abuse; possession of fentanyl-related compound
- Jeffrey S. Wittekind – possession of a fentanyl-related compound; tampering with evidence
- James C. Smith – possession of a fentanyl-related compound
- Taevion T. Thompson - possession of a fentanyl-related compound
- David J. Gorby – aggravated possession of drugs
- Mara L. Spindler –aggravated possession of drugs; possession of a fentanyl-related compound
- Brandon P. Layman – aggravated trafficking in drugs; two counts aggravated possession of drugs; two counts possession of a fentanyl-related compound; permitting drug abuse
- Delbert Cain – escape
- Sherman L. Larrimore II - failure to provide notice of change of address
- Connor R. Arnott - breaking and entering; possessing criminal tools; petty theft
- Bobbie J. Seevers – possession of drugs; tampering with evidence
- David J. Smearman III – possession of drugs; tampering with evidence
- Kaitlyn P. Dye – possession of drugs
- Robert J. Cross – possession of drugs
- Evelyn R. Inman – possession of drugs
- Elizabeth A. Lang – three counts theft
- Derek L. Stalder – theft; criminal damaging
- Brandon Lee Richards – two counts vandalism; three counts criminal damaging
- Mary A. Sidel – two counts permitting drug abuse; two counts possession of drugs; two counts trafficking in drugs
- Jaclyn J. Kerns – aggravated possession of drugs; possession of drug-abuse instruments
- Joshua K. Ross – vehicular assault; unauthorized use of a vehicle; driving under suspension; possession of drugs
