West Virginia man caught with loaded gun at Washington Dulles International Airport
The man from Kearneysville, West Virginia had a 9 millimeter handgun loaded with 5 bullets in his carry-on bag on Monday.
TSA officers found the gun at a security checkpoint and contacted the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police who confiscated the gun and questioned the man.
He was then allowed to catch his flight without his firearm.
According to TSA, passengers are only allowed to travel with firearms in checked baggage if they are properly packed and declared.
