Williamstown Lions Club raises money for playground equipment

WILLIAMSTOWN, W. Va. (WTAP) - Pancakes and Flags might seem like an odd combination but in Williamstown, both are raising money to benefit the public.
The Williamstown Lions Club put up Flags for Heroes this week, the flags; 180 in total contain tags of heroes including military and non-military citizens.
At the same time, the club was holding a pancake breakfast this morning to also raise money.
Both fundraisers are supporting handicap-accessible equipment that will be installed at Thomlinson Park.
The pancake breakfast is a tradition for the club and dates back decades in Williamstown.
