Reginald “Reg” Dean Waggoner, 85 of Midlothian, VA, passed away December 26, 2018 in Richmond, VA.

He was born in Marietta on January 10, 1933, a son of the late Julia and Charles Waggoner.

After graduating from Marietta High School in 1950, he joined the U. S Air Force in which he served 4 years.

After the Air Force, he pursued a career in industrial pipe and valve sales.

Reg was a long-standing member of the Brandermill Church.

He was an avid bowler and enjoyed surf fishing in the Outer Banks. He was a member in good standing of the American Legion Post 64.

Reg is survived by his son Stuart, daughter Patricia Wilhoit, son-in-law Jerry Wilhoit, granddaughter Shelly Butler and brother Dwight Waggoner of Florida and sister-in-law Norma Warden of Williamstown.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn I. Shimp Waggoner who passed away December 27, 2014.

His memorial service was held in Midlothian, Virginia.
