Edmund Bruce Wilson, 80, of Pennsboro, WV departed this life on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Ed was born September 5, 1939 in Ritchie County, WV, a son of the late O.C. “Bob” and Josephine (Collins) Wilson. He was retired after 33 years of service as a mechanic for EI Dupont Washington Works and he was a veteran of the US Army in Ft. Carson, CO.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fayetta (Dodd) Wilson; son, Eddie Wilson of Pennsboro, WV; brother, Julian K. Wilson (Linda) of Parkersburg, WV; sister, Diana Wilson Benedum of Pennsboro, WV; nieces, Lauren Benedum Siers (Al) of Nutterfort, WV and Angela D. Wilson (Paul) of Firestone, CO; nephews, Richard K. Wilson of Parkersburg, WV and Matt D. Wilson of Parkersburg, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grover and Vada Collins and paternal grandparents, Bruce and Ella Wilson.
Graveside services will be 11am, Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Mt. Harmony Masonic Cemetery in Pennsboro, WV with Pastor Martin L. Corbin officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, in Pennsboro, WV.
