Edith Rosetta Hart Keller, 82, of Parkersburg passed away on November 28, 2019 at CareHaven of Pleasants County, after an extended illness.

Edith was born January 24, 1937 in Parkersburg, WV to Howard Ray and Nora Edith (Conger) Hart. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1955 and was a full-time wife and mother. In recent years, she had been a member of Faith Chapel Community Church of Coolville, Ohio and then Narrow Gate Baptist Church of Parkersburg. She loved gardening, feeding birds, listening to music, singing, taking Sunday afternoon drives, and spending time with her family.

On January 8, 1955, she married her neighborhood sweetheart, William Everett Keller, and they celebrated 51 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on August 12, 2006.

She was also preceded by her parents; a stepfather, Daniel Sams; sisters, Helen Starcher and Velma Jones; one brother, Howard Hart, Jr.; a nephew, Kenneth Keller; and nieces, Monica Freshour and Sandra Staats.

She is survived by her five children: Melody (Charles) Wright of Chestertown, MD, Thomas (Jackie) Keller of Washington, WV, Christina Davis of Parkersburg, William (Caryn) Keller of Parkersburg, John (Carla) Keller of Queen Creek, AZ; eleven grandchildren: Eric (Amber) Wright, Aaron (Caryn) Wright, Tabitha (Joel) Guidish, Chad (Venessa) Wright, Nicole (Craig) Corley, Cassidy Keller, Thomas Keller, Jr., Molly Davis, Anthony Davis, Emily (Zachary) Wood, and AJ Keller; ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with her son-in-law, Reverend Charles Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 and 6-8PM and one hour prior to services.
