Robert G. "Bob" Morton, 83 of Belpre, Ohio died on March 23, 2020 at the Cedar Grove Personal Care Center in Parkersburg. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on May 25, 1936 and was the son of the late Henry Clay and Audra Mae Grandon Morton. He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1954. He served our country for 9 years in the Army National Guard. He was a self employed contractor and had owned several businesses over the years. He enjoyed flying having obtained his pilot's license, restoring and driving Model A Ford automobiles and he loved spending time at Myrtle Beach with his family, especially with the love of his life, his wife Louise. He also loved spending time with his four daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include his four daughters, Debra (William) Shepard of Amherst, NH, Tammy (Bill Mayhew) Morton of Belpre, Ohio, Robbin (Randy) Alton of Parkersburg, WV, Vickie (Karl) Miracle of Hockingport, Ohio, his grandchildren, William (Stacy) Shepard of Redondo Beach, CA, Lauren (Kyle) Luce of Grantham, NH, Jonathan (Laura) Shepard of Clinton, Ohio, Andrew Shepard of Center Harbor, NH, J. Alton (K. Sabol) of McDonald, PA, Alee (Dylan) Camden of Washington, WV, and Troy Alton of Parkersburg, WV. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Amelia, Elaina, and Camilla Shepard, Grace Luce, Lillian, and Lucas Shepard, Tucker and Sydney Camden, his brother, Gary (Marilyn) Morton of Lubeck, WV, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 57 years, Louise Riebel Morton.

Because of current health concerns, there will be a private graveside service held at the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations can be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mount Tom Rd., Marietta, Ohio 45714.
