Gerald “Larry” Fore, 79, of Coolville, Ohio died on March 29, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Little Hocking, Ohio on January 19, 1941 and was the son of the late Denver and Isabelle Fore.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna; his children; Roger (Elizabeth) Fore of Coolville; Trish Fore of Raleigh, North Carolina; his only grandchild Denver (Meagan) Fore of Guysville; his sister Beverly
(Fred) Coen of Washington State; his sister-in-law’s Linda (Larry) Simmons and families; Pam (Mick) Bentz and family both of Coolville, Ohio.

He graduated from Carthage-Troy High School in 1960. He attended Eastern Kentucky University where he played on the Colonel basketball team, then continued his basketball career semi-professionally in
Chicago, Illinois for AllSteel.

He retired from Kardex Systems in Reno, Ohio. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed wood working, carving his infamous walking canes. He loved watching West Virginia University basketball and
football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Blair and MaryAnn Bond; his father and mother in law, Glendon and Gladys Webb.
