Nana's Banana Pudding


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 6 eggs separated (beat yolks and set whites aside)
  • 1 tbsp. Vanilla flavoring
  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers 6 bananas

  • Directions

    1. Mix flour, sugar, milk and the beaten egg yolks in a microwave safe dish.

    2. Cook on high heat for 15 to 18 minutes or until thicken. After pudding is thickened, add vanilla. While pudding is cooking use a 13x9 baking pan and layer wafers, bananas, and pudding.

    3. Beat egg whites: when peaks form add 3 tbsp. Sugar. Beat until stiff.

    4. Spread on top and bake at 400 degrees 6 to 8 minutes or until brown.
