Football Frenzy- Week 2 recap

WTAP SPORTS Week 2 of the high school football season was headlined by a Washington County rivalry game. The Marietta Tigers downed archrival Warren 52-34

All three of Parkersburg's high school teams were out on the road.

Parkersburg South went to Morgantown and defeated the University Hawks 48-14 to move to 2-0.

Parkersburg High lost to a powerhouse Cabell Midland team 55-13

While Parkersburg Catholic went to Ritchie County and the Rebels rolled 50-13

Williamstown wins it's home opener, blanking Magnolia 27-0

The Belpre Golden Eagles faced a playoff team for the second week in a row. The Eagles fell to the Trimble Tomcats 46-0

The Fort Frye Cadets run their record to 2-0 with a 64-21 victory over Nelsonville York

The Waterford Wildcats win their home opener with South Gallia 40-8 and are 2-0 as well.

Frontier moves to 2-0 with a 47-13 win over Beallsville.

And the St. Marys 'Blue Devils are also 2-0 with a 34-7 win over Scott
