Football Frenzy Week 13 recap
- The Fort Frye Cadets made history Friday night. The Cadets won their first ever Regional Championship, downing Shadyside 18-6 in the Ohio Div. VI Region 23 Finals. Evan Schob gave the Cadets a lead they would not give up on a 44 yard touchdown run. Brian Atkins also returned an interception for a touchdown. Fort Frye improves to 12-0 on the season and advances to the Division VI semifinals against Kirtland at a location to be announced.
The Williamstown Yellowjackets went on the road and upset third seeded Mount View in the Class A quarterfinals in Princeton. The Yellowjackets knocked off the Golden Knights 23-12. Williamstown advance to play on the road at Midland Trail next week
Doddridge County continues it's run of perfection. The fourth seeded Bulldogs blitzed Cameron 27-0 in their Class A quarterfinal round game in Glenville. Doddridge improves to 12-0 and advances to the semifinals next week against top seeded Wheeling Central.
Ripley's playoff run came to an end. Musselman overpowered the Vikings 52-7
