- Week 3 of the high school football season featured neighborly rivalries and home field debuts.

The Parkersburg South Patriots played on the friendly confines of the Erickson All Sports Facility. Coach Nathan Tanner's Patriots handled the Athens Bulldogs 42-20

The Marietta Tigers welcomed the Williamstown Yellowjackets to Don Drumm Stadium for their annual "Rumble on the River". The Yellowjackets earned bragging rights this year with a 34-7 victory.

Parkersburg High returned home this week and returned to the win column. The Big Reds bounce back with a 35-6 win over Woodrow Wilson

To Washington County now for the annual trans- Muskingum River rivalry between Waterford and visiting Fort Frye. The Cadets top their next door neighbors 49-0

The Warren Warriors maul the Meigs Marauders 66-28

Parkersburg Catholic loses on the road at South Harrison 28-21

The Belpre Golden Eagles soar over Miller 42-7

Frontier continues its impressive play with a 46-0 win over Bridgeport

and Wirt County kicked off the home portion of it's schedule with a 27-2 win over Gilmer.
