Week one of the West Virginia and Ohio High School football season with action all across the Mid-Ohio Valley!

The Parkersburg Big Reds hosted the Morgantown Mohicans in a crucial week one matchup with the Big Reds getting a big 27-21 win.

Marietta opened up its season with their annual week one matchup against Morgan and cruised to a 56-14 win.

First year head coach Nathan Tanner lead the Parkersburg South Patriots down to rival Ripley and the new look Patriots took care of business winning by a score of 49-18.

The Fort Frye Cadets, who look to be the crème of the crop in division six high school football this season, hosted Coach Mike DeVol and the Belpre Golden Eagles. The Cadets get the job done and finish week one 1-0 taking down Belpre by a final of 34-12.

The Warren Warriors under the direction of first year head coach Matt Kimes start off on the right foot taking down Crooksville by a score of 33-20.

After a fantastic turnaround last season, the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders opened up their season behind their High School with a win over Hannan by a final of 56-0.

The St. Marys Blue Devils hosted a tough week one matchup against Roane County but pick up a big win by a score of 31-13.

Doddridge County opened up the 2019 season at their amazing new facility with an easy win over South Harrison winning by a score of 49-6.

Ritchie County and Tyler Consolidated duked it out in a week one matchup with early playoff implications with Ritchie picking up the 58-20 win.

The Frontier Cougars opened their season at home with a border battle with Paden City and the Cougars take down the Wildcats 61-6.
