Humphreys falls in round 2 of NCAA Tournament

PITTSBURGH, PA. (WTAP)-Parkersburg South graduate Josh Humphreys' run for an individual national championship at the NCAA wrestling tournament in Pittsburgh has come to an end.

The Lehigh University freshman got knocked out in the second round in the 157lb weight Class

Josh begin the tournament Thursday afternoon with a 6-0 decision over Justin Ruffin from Southern Illinois University.

Then in the round of 16 in the evening session he lost an 11-7 decision to Christian Pagdilau from Arizona State University.

Humphreys will continue on in the wresteback to try to earn a spot on the podium on Saturday and All American status.
