Mike Fallon Steps Down as South Head Basketball Coach

Mike Fallon has been the head coach for the Patriots the past nine seasons and today, he decided he would step down.

Mike has had an incredible career at the head coaching level. Before he got the job at South, he coached the Wirt County girls basketball team for seven years making it to regionals a total of four times.

While at South, he did one of the best jobs in the entire state of West Virginia. He had a total of 148 wins, which is good for second in the school’s history.

For mike, his greatest accomplishment is what he did off of the court in the south community like showing support for things like Anna’s army.

But after battling multiple challenges, it was the right time to step back from the game that he loves.
