WV HIgh school football ratings- Oct. 15

PARKERSBURG, W.VA. (WTAP SPORTS)- The high school football ratings through 7 weeks of the season were released Tuesday by the WV State Secondary School Activities Commission.
The Parkersburg South Patriots remain in third place in the rankings.

The Patriots are 6-0 coming off their bye week and they're back in action again on Friday night at Morgantown

The Parkersburg High Big Reds are ranked 13th this week. The
Big Reds are 3-3 on the season and are set to host Hurricane this week.
Unbeaten Cabell Midland continues to be the number 1 ranked team in the big school division.
In Class A, The Doddridge County Bulldogs share the number 1 ranking with Pendleton County. The Bulldogs are 6-0 and are gearing up for a road trip to Ravenswood this week.

The Ritchie County Rebels are in third place on the strength of a 5-1 record. They return home to play Webster County on Friday.

The Williamstown Yellowjackets move up to 4th place. The Jackets are 6-1 including a 6 game winning streak and they'll out on the road at Tyler on Friday

Parkersburg Catholic and St. Marys are tied for 11th place.
The Crusaders are 5-2 and are out on the road to face #1 Pendleton County on Friday.

The Blue Devils are 4-2 and they're back in action against South Harrison.

At the end of the season, the top 16 teams in each class make the playoffs.
