WV Open tees off this week.

VIENNA, W.VA (WTAP)The best golfers in West Virginia will be at the Parkersburg Country Club all week long.

it's the 86th annual West Virginia Open and it attracts the top professional and amateur talent to take on the challenge of the par 73 layout along the Ohio River in northern Vienna

The 54 hole tournament tees off on Wednesday and runs through Friday.

The 132 player field that includes 10 time open champion David Bradshaw...

Bradshaw is very familiar with the country club course. He won the WV Open when it was played there in 2013.

The amateur field is also strong with defending West Virginia Amateur champion Sam O'Dell and local amateur Alan Cooke and others

West Virginia golf association executive director Brad Ullman believes it will be a challenge for all when the tournament tees off on Wednesday morning.
